Ethnic Media Briefing – Detroit New Americans Campaign
Last month, a group of ethnic media in Detroit gathered for a roundtable conversation with the New Americans Campaign. Reporters and representatives from local ethnic media learned about the changes to the new N-400 form, and discussed media’s role to promote naturalization to ethnic communities in Michigan.
During the discussion, recent naturalized residents shared their personal stories of what citizenship means for them, and how the New Americans Campaign helped them through the process.
Check out the video round-up of the event and then find out about the free citizenship clinics and workshops near you with our events calendar.
